Students and school staff all across the province donned pink attire on Feb. 25 in recognition of Pink Shirt Day. The annual anti-bullying event started in Nova Scotia in 2007 when two high school students encouraged their classmates to wear pink as a show of support for a student at their school who had been bullied for wearing a pink shirt.
